Natalie and Xavier said “I do” in a colorful wedding in Maryland, at VisArts at Rockville, where they celebrated both their ceremony and reception. The pair’s personalities really shined, right down to their wedding shoes (Converse for him and blue heels for her!). The colors of coral and pale blue were bountiful on this wedding day, from the bridesmaid dresses and blue ties for the groomsmen to the striped paper goods and colorful welcome bags for their wedding guests. But, my personal favorite pop of color has to be the bride’s bright and cheerful bridal bouquet, complete with succulents! With the help of Rose Gold Events & Styling, this Maryland wedding was just as happy they wanted it to be! And with a focus on fashion, and the bride’s jaw-droppingly beautiful wedding dress with a lace back, everything looked flawless on this big day. A special thanks to Erica Dietz Photography for sharing Natalie and Xavier’s cheery and bright Maryland wedding with us!

From the bride: My first wedding priority was my bridal dress! I searched high and low (dragging my sister with me to numerous bridal dress salons!) and finally decided on a unique, custom Lela Rose gown at Hitched in Georgetown. What was really the most important part of our wedding were great photos at our wedding venue. My childhood best friend was my wedding photographer and I knew she would make the space look beautiful in her photos. She really utilized the entire venue for all aspects of the wedding day. We had the formal photos, cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception all in one building, and we took advantage of every area of the art space. We also really cared about providing our wedding guests with a good time. An open bar with a signature cocktail of our favorite drink, an Old Fashioned, was key! I also splurged on mini Georgetown Cupcakes—those were a big hit!

Our wedding ceremony was custom-created with the help of our officiant. Xavier is Filipino so we included all of the traditional wedding ceremony elements, performed by wedding sponsors from both sides of our family. We also wrote our own wedding ceremony vows and read them aloud to each other. This was the best part of the entire wedding day; expressing how we truly felt in front of all our loved ones! We’ve been together for over seven years, so we had a lot of loving memories and stories to share!
