Jennifer and Mike held their Washington DC wedding at a stunning, iconic property, Daughters of the American Revolution, overlooking the Mall, the Washington Monument, the White House and more! It doesn’t get anymore “DC” than this location! While they didn’t know exactly what they wanted their wedding day to look like, they didn’t need to when they enlisted the help of their wedding planner, Tabitha from Roberts & Co. Events, who took their wishes and created one amazing Washington DC wedding ceremony. No detail was left undone at their wedding, right down to the custom embroidery on the groom’s shirt! The flowers were pretty in pink (as were the bridesmaids!) and the guys were crisp and oh-so handsome in black, while the blushing bride opted for a beautiful sweetheart neckline wedding dress. They kicked off their wedding celebration with one of the cutest first looks ever followed by a wedding ceremony that was set inside with a gorgeous gold mirror backdrop surrounded by flowers in all shades of pink and white (a girl after my own heart!). When their marriage vows were all said and done, Jennifer and Mike’s wedding wouldn’t have been complete without a few portrait photos overlooking the Washington Monument – a moment I’m sure these lovebirds will not soon forget! Thanks to Lisa Boggs Photography for Jennifer and Mike’s romantic Washington DC area wedding photos!
From the bride: We did not have a specific wedding day vision in mind. Our wedding planner was the person who really helped us to develop our ideas into a wedding theme. We only really knew what we did not want and that was a wedding that was too extravagant. We wanted our wedding to be fun and relaxed, but still look and feel elegant and classic.
Congratulations to Jennifer and Mike! Thank you for sharing your Washington DC wedding ceremony with us! Stay tuned for their formal pink, gold and white wedding reception!
