Open a bottle of wine and come along with us today for a dose of pretty Virginia wedding inspiration! Christie and Jeremiah held their spectacular outdoor winery wedding ceremony in Leesburg, Virginia at Stone Tower Winery where they said “I do” among the grape vines and their closest friends and family. This real wedding feature is an extra special surprise treat today, because Christie doesn’t know about their wedding being featured. So, surprise, Christie! Your sweet hubby submitted your wedding (and provided all the wedding background and details!!) all for you! You got a “keeper,” we’d say! The pastel green and navy blue palette was perfectly preppy for their outdoor vineyard wedding setting and the lush florals on wine barrels finished off their wedding ceremony look flawlessly. But, it’s the bride and groom’s glow on their big wedding day that really catches my eye – so in love and oh, so happy! They both donned crisp white attire (her in the gown and him with his white tie to stand apart from the groomsmen) – an idea worth taking a closer look at for your own big day! Their wedding in Virginia even had little ones dressed to the nines! A big thanks to Nancy Anderson Cordell Photography and team for sharing Christie and Jeremiah’s beautiful Virginia vineyard wedding photos with us!

From the groom: I’ll do my best to describe our wedding from her point of view, as typically men don’t get much say in the wedding planning area! We woke up the Saturday morning of our wedding to see a dark grey sky that was pouring rain non-stop, which wasn’t exactly what we had planed for. But, the story gets good as the forecast was for 100% chance of rain all day, but roughly 20 minutes before my bride, Christie, walked down the aisle, God had stopped the rain. It was truly a miracle, because we said, rain or shine, we’re having the wedding ceremony outside! We had our wedding ceremony out in the field of a beautiful vineyard in the hills of Leesburg, VA. Our hope was to have a personal and rustic feel to our special wedding day. Our colors were sage and navy blue and after it had rained all day, it looked great with the amazing backdrop and colors of the wedding venue standing out.

My favorite wedding day moment was most definitely our first kiss as husband and wife during the ceremony. I was looking forward to the moment that I could kiss my beautiful bride the day I asked her to be my wife. Her’s would be our “first look” where all of her nerves were settled and we were able to pray with one another.
