Danielle and Michael celebrated their wedding in Maryland at the Four Seasons Baltimore along the Inner Harbor, where they also ushered their wedding guests to a cocktail hour overlooking the waterfront to enjoy oodles of fresh seafood and good company. We can’t think of a more “Maryland” way to celebrate! Don’t miss a minute of their wedding ceremony – just take a peek into it here. After their cocktail hour, it was back inside to to the elegant ballroom they went where more delicious fare awaited them including sliders and fries at just the right hour. But, it was the sparkle throughout the ballroom that caught my eye – endless amounts of navy sequins on stunning table linens below pretty pink flowers filled the room. Everything was picture perfect, right down to the white dance floor and modern wedding ceremony backdrop that proved to be quite a statement piece at the reception too! Danielle and Michael’s wedding reception had it all, including color coordinated personal mini champagne bottles for each wedding guest (that doubled as escort cards)! What a great idea to kick off the evening’s festivities! Big thanks to Mary Brunst Photography for sharing Daniele and Michael’s Baltimore wedding with us!

From the bride: I knew that I wanted a little sparkle and a touch of pink for our wedding. It was really important to me that it was glamorous, elegant and fun. I was lucky enough to meet Julie from Strawberry Milk events. She was instrumental in taking all of the ideas that were in my head and bringing them to life on our wedding. At times I referred to her as the “wedding whisperer,” because she really had an unbelievable ability to know exactly what I was looking for…She found navy linens that sparkled with clear navy sequins and I was in love. She added a touch of pink with the flowers and the up-lighting. She decided that we should drape the Cobalt Ballroom at the Four Seasons and that really changed the entire look of the room. We hung crystal tea lights from the chandeliers and with the water views it was truly a breathtaking event. Julie made my wedding day! I was stress free and everything exceeded my expectations.

I was really lucky to work with a group of amazing people – wedding planner, photographer, and DJ. This made the wedding planning process so easy. I truly believe if you find the right people to work with it will all fall into place on your wedding day.

Advice from the bride for other Washington DC area couples:

Don’t get caught up in all the drama that can coincide with the wedding. Focus on your partner and take time to really enjoy how special the wedding day is. Also, at some point in the wedding day just take a minute to look around the room – all of the most important people in you and your spouse’s life are in the same room at the same time. It’s an amazing feeling! Enjoy it!
