We are back and excited to share wedding inspiration from the same location in Washington, but set-up two different ways. It just goes to show you that with a little bit of decor and thoughtful florals, you can personalize any space – even your favorite restaurant – to celebrate your wedding events. Earlier this morning, Kapnos on 14th street in Washington DC was set up for a classy and elegant bachelorette party. Now, Washington DC area wedding catering company, Mike Isabella Concepts flipped the same space into a fun, yet fancy, wedding rehearsal dinner. With a stand-out table linen and whimsical touches, like bright yellow centerpieces, we can’t get enough of the cozy and intimate tone set for this rehearsal dinner all photographed by Deb Lindsey Photography
For this wedding rehearsal dinner, the events dining room at the delish Kapnos is the perfect spot. (Maybe Kapnos is the couple’s favorite restaurant?!) Mustard colored banquette cushions and bright yellow flowers gave us the fun, while moodier orange florals, all from Elegance & Simplicity, with dark purple napkins provided the fancy. The orange and taupe geometric linen from DC Rental is a perfect fit for the entire table. For a smaller event like a rehearsal dinner, we love the idea of going with a bold table linen that you wouldn’t necessarily do for your wedding day. Of course, you’ll want some eye-catching stationery designs to command your guests’ attention and get them excited about the night-before your wedding celebration. Miss Merkle Designs and Meant to Be Calligraphy‘s collaboration, (How about that RSVP postcard?!) was spot on for this dinner. The favors were freshly baked lemon poppyseed breads, the perfect item for guests to enjoy on as they make their way down 14th street back to their hotels for the night.
Thanks again to Mike Isabella Concepts for sharing this gorgeous rehearsal dinner inspiration! Don’t forget to check out this same location set up for a classy bachelorette party posted earlier today.
