Mark and Colleen tied the knot in Germantown for their Maryland wedding at the beautiful golf club, Bretton Woods. With a sunny outdoor ceremony, it was only fitting that their wedding was filled with sunflowers – inside and outside! A palette of cheerful yellow and navy was sprinkled throughout their wedding day, making us smile just thinking about this celebration and all the fun that was had! Colleen wore a delicate tiara while Mark donned a dapper suit as the couple said “I do!” outside on the lawn overlooking a stunning view. Big thanks to the talented Colleen Losh Photography for sharing the newlyweds’ wedding-day photos with us!
From Colleen: We had an early fall wedding and were lucky to have a day with beautiful weather. I initially chose sunflowers as a focal point and added navy for our colors. Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour were held on the lawn with beautiful views and our wedding reception was in the venue’s ballroom, which overlooks 285 acres and the Potomac River. Our bridesmaids each wore navy dresses in the style of their choice and groomsmen wore heather gray suits.
It is difficult to choose just one favorite memory, but I especially enjoyed putting on my wedding dress with my mom and sister, the few moments that Mark and I spent alone together, and getting to talk and celebrate with all of our friends and family during the wedding reception.
Congratulations to Mark and Colleen! Thank you for sharing your sunflower-inspired wedding ceremony with us! Stay tuned, up next we’re going to share with you their beautiful navy and yellow wedding reception.
