Classic to the core, this black-tie wedding in Washington DC is the definition of elegance to say the very least! Freed Photography was on hand to capture every sweet moment of Brooke and Will’s traditional Jewish wedding ceremony at night. So romantic! And I could stare at the Brooke’s sparkly bridal gown all day long—wait ‘til you see the back of it! Come back later this afternoon to see their elegant soirée.

From Brooke:  The vision was for a classic and elegant affair, with some old Hollywood era details. My dress felt very 1920s era, and we took it from there. The bridesmaids were in timeless, drapey gowns in different shades of gray. The guys in classic black and white shawl color tuxes.

My brother passed away before the wedding, but it was important that his presence was felt on that day. Our florist attached a charm with his picture to my bouquet, and we did the blessing over the wine at the ceremony using the kiddush cup from Jason’s bar mitzvah.

We had a beautiful traditional Jewish ceremony in the courtyard of the Omni, it was very romantic, shepherds hook lanterns and spotlights lit up the aisle, gazebo and courtyard. An important part of any Jewish ceremony is the chuppah, which literally means “that which covers or floats above.”
