From Laura: When my mom and I first started planning our wedding, all we knew was that we wanted to do it in the fall, when the weather was still nice and the leaves were changing colors. We visited a venue called The Howard County Conservancy. We saw the barn on top of a rolling hill, and we knew immediately we wanted to use that as the backdrop to the ceremony. Once the venue was figured out, everything started to fall into place. We chose a rustic country feel. We used pumpkins, sunflowers, and mason jars to help our ideas come to life.
I really wanted a special meaningful ceremony, we got a great officiant, we did our own declarations and asked special family members to give some readings.
