If you haven’t had enough of this morning’s burst of cultural glam, then hold onto your seats because there’s more where that came from. Manisha and Narendra’s wedding in Maryland paid homage to their Indian heritage (Don’t miss out on their traditional Hindu wedding ceremony!) with cultural details and décor—a celebration of two families blending in the prettiest of ways! Rob Garland Photographers was on hand to capture all the love and we couldn’t be more excited to share every last photo!
One of our favorite memories is when we briefly left the reception for some nighttime pictures at the Inner Harbor. We walked along the water and as we were posing, we heard “At Last” by Etta James playing on one of the boats, and we started dancing. It’s a song we were contemplating for our first dance, but ended up choosing another song–it made us feel like we had a private “first” dance.
Manisha’s wedding planning advice for other DC-area couples:
Find ways to incorporate yourselves into various aspects of the day, because it’s more meaningful for the guests.
