If you’re in need of an afternoon pick-up, this wedding in St. Michael’s, Maryland will surely do the trick. Leslie and Adam’s beautiful fall wedding is drenched in the prettiest of cranberry and ivory décor and charming DIY details. (But first, make sure to check out their traditional outdoor wedding ceremony!). The crafty styling of a DIY bride paired with planning from Ambiance-Distinctive Weddings and Events, makes for one stunning wedding reception. Lucky ofr us, Rebekah J. Murray Photography was on hand to capture every last detail.
From Leslie: The vibe of Kirkland Manor set the tone for the other wedding details, both big and small. We focused on simple yet elegant. Our colors were ivory and cranberry, which coordinated well with the fall colors.
I made table number holders out of wine corks, and decorated over 100 mason jars with lace and burlap for the centerpieces.
Everything came together just as we had imagined, and it was an awesome night! The band definitely made it a fun night for everyone though!
Leslie’s wedding planning advice for other DC-area couples:
I would just suggest, from the beginning stages of planning, identifying those things that are most important to you as a couple and individually, so you can work from there and are on the same page.
