We are so excited to share this dreamy Virginia wedding engagement session of cute Midwestern transplants, Melissa and Nick! Their engagement session at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, captured by {a}strid photography, featured personal touches, like homemade banana bread baked by Melissa. When she first moved to Maryland, she would stay up late to bake as a way of winding down and relaxing. Nick admitted he never understood it, but when they were figuring out what to pack for their engagement shoot, he suggested Melissa’s banana bread. Like a lot of men out there, the way to his heart is through his stomach!
