Good Monday morning to you, DMV wedding lovers! I bet most of you are reading this at home on this fine MLK day! We are kicking the week off with a Virginia wedding ceremony that truly embraces the word ” intimate.” With their closest friends and family, Tara and Brian exchanged their wedding vows on a friend’s private farm in Virginia with His and Her Photography there to capture every last detail. Be sure to join us later this morning to see all the DIY fun from their farm reception!
From Tara: Our wedding was vintage inspired. We were focused on re-use and working within the lovely environment of our friend’s 1800″s horse farm. We used vintage wine glasses for serving and as the give-aways for each guest. We had homemade cakes on each table. We used vintage candy dishes filled with penny candy. We brewed our own beer and served local wines and local beers. We had local moonshine as a special treat! I envisioned a sun-washed color palate with the punch of color from the depression era glassware we re-used. We wanted to relaxed and fun event that was filled with laughter and dancing and good food and good friends. We achieved that and more!
Thank you so much Tara and Brian for sharing your wedding ceremony with us! Don’t forget to come back later this morning to see their reception. The following Washington DC area wedding professionals contributed to their wedding:
