Good morning to you! I’m feeling bright and cheery today and I think it is because I’ve been looking through the pictures from Rachael Foster of Becca and Pete’s wedding in Virginia. Using two bright shades, they  designed a wedding celebration that was truly them. Pete is a graphic designer and they both love mid-century modern design. As Becca said, their wedding looked a lot like their home! Becca and Pate were married in the spring in Old Town Alexandria outside in the hotel’s courtyard and then they headed inside to the ballroom for their reception, but you’ll have to come back a little later this morning to see their reception!

From Becca:  Pete, a graphic designer, grabbed his Pantone Color Book a few days after we were engaged, and brought it to me. We picked two colors to go from (PMS 319 and 158, for those interested), and it spiraled out from there. We have a love for midcentury design and teal and orange are two colors that are well-represented in our home.

From Becca: The first time Pete and I saw each other during our “first look” was my favorite memory. It was so nice to have such a special and intimate moment by ourselves. I’ll also never forget the look on Pete’s face when he finally got to see me in my dress. Pete said that his favorite memory was seeing all our friends and family having fun, but knowing they weren’t even close to as happy as I was.
