Good Monday morning to you! Let me welcome you to Erin and Alex’s whimsical Maryland wedding ceremony. These two self-proclaimed nerds perfectly executed their vision of a romantic and whimsical affair with shades of purple and personal touches throughout. Erin and Alex even put one of their college classes to use and did all of the calligraphy for their wedding stationery themselves! Timmester Photography was there to capture every special moment. I’m loving their outdoor wedding portraits, it was hard to pick just a few! Don’t forget to return back later this morning to see their gorgeous wedding reception!
From Erin: The ceremony was my favorite part of the day. The sunlight was streaming in the windows (Tropical Storm Andrea had just moved through and I thought it was going to rain all day!) and the flowers looked and smelled beautiful. My dad was so nervous that he was going to wrinkle my veil, but he did a great job. Our bridesmaid sang the entire mass setting and the priest gave a wonderful homily. At the end, another our bridesmaid sang a beautiful Ave Maria from the choir loft with the organ accompanying and my new husband and I knelt to honor Mary for blessing us with each other. That moment of my life was perfect.
Thank you so much Erin and Alex for sharing your wedding ceremony with us! Don’t forget to come back later this morning to see their reception. The following Washington DC area wedding professionals contributed to their wedding:
