Fashion Week may have come and gone, but many are adapting the textures, silhouettes and color palettes from the fashion runway for everyday life – even weddings! With the help of a few DC wedding vendors, Elizabeth of Elizabeth Duncan Events put together for us a three-part series of wedding inspirations based on runway fashion. Today is the first part full of black and white wedding ideas and is captured by k. thompson photography. This inspiration comes straight from the bold and modern styles of Dior, Lanvin and McQueen to name a few!
From Elizabeth: Inspiration for your wedding can come from just about anything these days. If you’re a fashionista, why not draw your inspiration from the latest runway trends? Here are two 2013 runway trends that Elizabeth Duncan Events translated into beautiful wedding designs along with the details on how you can get the look.
What defines the look? Classic, timeless, versatile, bold contrast. To soften the bold contrast of black and white, we added romantic touches to create a sophisticated design that is equally comfortable in a formal ballroom or home setting.
Thank you so much Elizabeth! Who is going black and white for their wedding??
