Since we’re seeing lots of Art Deco and Gatsby-inspired wedding, The Carlyle Club just had to make our list! It can accommodate 180 guests for a seated dinner and dance floor.
Head on over to Leesburg to experience the lush gardens of Historic Morven Park. This historic property offers the splendor of a mansion or the stateliness of the beautiful gardens for a celebration of any size, with a variety of event spaces.
Since its opening in the early 20s and a complete renovation, The George Washington Hotel combines a modern elegance and a historical legacy. Located in Winchester, Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley, this venue features elegant marble flooring and soaring ceilings for a lavish affair. The Grand Ballroom can seat up to 180 guests for a seated dinner, and up to 300 people for a strolling reception.
Once the location of a popular watering hole during the 1940s and 50s, the artfully restored Old Metropolitan Hall features two floors of splendor and modern design. Upstairs you’ll find the original antique tin tiles exquisitely lit with era-inspired glass chandeliers while downstairs you’ll find an intimate setting with black and white diamond flooring.
I can only imagine how exquisite is would be to exchange wedding vows on 12 acres of lush greens at Eden Try, a Fredericksburg manor. Elegant fountains, extraordinary landscaping and a winding driveway fit for a princess-like ride with a horse and carriage arrival, this venue is a destination dream. For an outdoor event, the capacity is virtually unlimited!
Your winery wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, Virginia features panoramic views of the Blue Ridge foothills with plenty of event spaces to “wow” your guests. The Airlie Center enjoys 1,200 acres of secluded Virginia hills and cuisine prepared with ingredients from Airlie’s own organic garden. Nestled within the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, the The Atrium at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens overlooks 95 acres of perfectly manicured lawns in Vienna, Virginia. Breaux Vineyards, a 400 acre estate, is home to some of the most beautiful views of rolling vines in Purcellville, Virginia. With an expansive private setting extending up the Short Hill Mountain, Breaux Vineyards features several event locations, our favorite spaces including The Acadia Room (which can accommodate up to 150 guests) featuring a grand fireplace and a breathtaking panoramic view; and The Lafayette Terrace, an outdoor elevated situated within the vines.
