We’re back with part two of Jenni and Razor’s Virginia wedding from Audra Wrisley Photography. (Did you see their multicultural interfaith ceremonies?) Jenni and Razor brought even more details giving nod to their heritage into their reception and kept with a regal palette of reds blues and purples. I absolutely love their getaway, complete with lots of bubbles!
From Jenni: Each of our cultures has its nuances, which we tried to showcase in varying degrees – from subtle touches like the Korean hand rolls my aunt made for the cocktail hour to elements deeply rooted in tradition like my mother in law serving us the almond drink – our first “sweet taste” of marriage.
Planning a wedding (with two ceremonies at that!) in four short weeks took its toll on us for sure. After all the stress and chaos, the wedding went off without a hitch. I remember feeling overwhelmingly happy and relieved that the day had finally arrived.
Jenni’s advice to other DC-area couples:
Don’t plan a wedding in four weeks! Ok, but seriously, as much as it is inevitable, try not to fight with your loved ones, especially your fiancé. Although wedding planning IS stressful, remember that ultimately it is about love and family.
