In addition to some stunning autumn portraits, Mary and Zak wanted to take a humorous angle for their Virginia engagement session with Mary Costa Photography. They decided to give a nod to their favorite show, How I Met Your Mother, with references to a few of the show’s most famous jokes and motifs like “Suit Up”, “Challenge Accepted” and that yellow umbrella. I think they perfectly mixed these humorous odes to TV with some beautiful shots at the always picturesque Meadowlark Botanical Gardens.
