Calling all history buffs! I know it is Valentine’s eve, but with the President’s Day holiday coming up on Monday, we just couldn’t let it slide and not give you some presidential wedding inspiration. We wouldn’t be true Washingtonians, now would we?! After seeing Allison and Dave’s Washington DC wedding feature on The Bridal Bar blog, there was one detail in particular that caught our eyes: presidential inspired table numbers. Since their wedding was held at the Arts Club of Washington (the former home of President James Monroe), the couple kept with a historical theme throughout the day all captured by Jessica Schmitt Photography. Each table was named for a former commander-in-chief and featured a framed portrait along with autobiographies and simple floral décor.
