Today’s wedding in Virginia from Vicki at My Simple Details and Anne Robert Photography couldn’t be more perfect to share on this Valentine’s Day Eve! It’s red, pink and romantic all around. Cami and Mike wed during the first snowfall of the season, but you wouldn’t know everything was blanketed in white just outside with all of the bold pops of color they chose! The decor is truly to die for, with ribbon covered chairs, oodles of red flowers and a hint of gold too, so take a peek and get inspired for tomorrow’s day full of love!

Red Wedding Shoes for the Bride

From Cami: We wanted the overall feel of our wedding to be vibrant and rich. We were able to achieve this look by incorporating various shades of fuschia, red and gold into the design.

One of my favorite details from our wedding was seeing the ribbons on the chairs for the first time, as well as the round configuration of the chairs for the ceremony. The ribbons were a huge source of stress for me because I wasn’t 100% convinced the ribbons would hide the white chairs. Vicki convinced me it would be fine and she was right! It was definitely my favorite detail.

I loved the level of detail Cupcakes Actually went to. We had small pink roses in fondant on the top of the Strawberry flavored ones, and I expected then to tasted like fondant (like most do) Cupcakes Actually went above and beyond, and flavored the fondant with a strawberry flavor! I was amazed.

Cami’s advice to other DC-area couples:

The one thing I would say to other DC area couples is to not sweat the small stuff. Try to focus more on why you are there to begin with, which is to celebrate the joining of two lives. Everybody wants to have a beautiful wedding, but the people you include in your big day have the potential to make it just as beautiful as any decoration could.
