Clarisse added a little sparkle here and there in the most understated of ways to complement the fresh orange and gray palette as she said “I do” to Gary. Take a look at this sweet first look and contemporary outdoor ceremony, but I can hardly wait to show you the reception in just a bit!
From Clarisse: It was like traditional met modern bling, and had a love child which was our wedding. I knew all along I wanted it to be blingy, yet definitely not in a trashy tacky sort of a way. It was a fine line to walk. Although orange is by no means one of my favorite colors, I loved the soft touch it gave the wedding.
Gary and I have a beagle and a maltese. They are such a big part of our lives we wanted to include them in our big day as much as possible! So when I had my family walk down the aisle to take their seats at the ceremony, our dogs were walked down as well. We hired a dog sitter to meet them at the end of the aisle and take them back to our room.
If I had to choose just one favorite memory, I would say when Gary and I first saw each other doing our “first look” photos. It was so amazing and intimate to be able to share that memory without being surrounded by others. We were free to react however we wanted without that pressure!
In the bridesmaid dresses, combining the gray and silver dresses with the orange dahlias and calla lillies was the exact modern/soft touch I was looking for!
