Jennifer and Brian had an intimate courthouse wedding in Annapolis and a wonderful meal with their closest family and friends to follow. The location reminded them of where they first met, and that sweet brooch bouquet? Made by the bride herself! Lucky for us, Jessica Schmitt Photography was there to capture the “I do’s”, the newly wedded stroll through the town and the toast to end the night of celebration!
From Jennifer: We definitely wanted to have a small, intimate ceremony. The color palette just naturally came about, we didn’t really agonize over colors. We loved Annapolis because it felt like a New England sea town. We met at nursing school in CT, and the location felt a little like home.
I think the brooch bouquet was really creative. My sister and I put it together and followed a tutorial we found online. We went thrift store shopping for brooches and even enlisted friends and family to keep an eye out for interesting pieces. I bought the rest of the supplies from my local craft store.
We loved having a small wedding and it was quite stress free.
