Happy Monday! And oh is it a happy one! I’ve come to two conclusions about today’s Virginia wedding from Michelle Lindsey Photography and Kelley Cannon Events. First, Morven Park is one of the most stunning Virginia wedding venues. And second, Amira and William had one of my favorite receptions of all time. You’ll have to wait until later this morning to see why, but for now you can marvel at the gorgeousness that is this outdoor fall ceremony. The colors, the flowers – it’s all beautiful. Now, if only we could hear the sounds of the weddings we feature! Music was top priority for Amira and William and I’m sure the day sounded just as amazing as it looked!
From Amira: We wanted something whimsical and playful, but not silly. It was important that it had a component of class.
Music is something that is very important to me. We chose the band, Jeff from Accounting, because their set list was fun and light hearted, which was reflected in their personalities and aligned with our vision. They even learned a number of songs specifically for our wedding, including the grooms processional song, which was the theme to the original Zelda, and our first dance, which was “First Day of My Life” by Bright Eyes.
