As summer comes to a close, I’m holding on tight with a hefty inspiration dose of one of the best things about the season: ice cream. Or gelato, or sorbet. I don’t discriminate here. In whatever form you serve it, from a truck, at a banana split bar, even a swing by your favorite parlor post-ceremony, I don’t have to tell you that ice cream is always a crowd pleaser. Especially in the heat here in the DC area, guest will be thrilled to end the night with a little refreshment in a cone!
