Where to start!? There are so many details I love about part two (Did you miss their ceremony?) of Kristin and Laura’s unique Baltimore wedding from Kelly Prizel Photography. The first thing that caught my eye? Those flower poms hanging from the ceiling, they make such a wonderful canopy for the reception! I also commend Kristin and Laura for choosing a cake bar instead of a single cake. Multiple cakes are always better than one, right? Especially when it was a budget saver too! Take a look at all the fun and food had at this wonderful museum reception. If only we were invited!
From Kirstin and Laura: Kristin and her mother spent hours, many miles apart, making paper flower balls to hang from the lighting.
We splurged on an organic, family style meal that our guests still rave about. We made it a priority to get a full band for the ceremony and reception music.
We had a buffet of delicious cakes and a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream cart that was very popular.
Kristin and Laura’s advice to other DC-area couples:
We kept our budget down by doing a cake buffet instead of a traditional wedding cake. We also brought in our own liquor so we could do an open bar less expensively.
