I’m here to help you cool off today with Libby and Ben’s winter Virginia wedding from Atrendy Wedding, captured by Eli Turner Studios. They had a perfect mix of wintery touches, like those seriously stunning florals and their snowflake adorned ceremony programs, and fun touches, like the super hero shirts hidden under the groomsmen’s suits! Blue and white has to be one of the most beautiful palettes for cold weather weddings, and this wedding certainly proves it. Don’t forget to check back later for part two!
From Libby: We wanted a classic, romantic wedding that still showed our playful and fun side. We wanted our ceremony to feel romantic and intimate and then let loose and have fun with our guests at the reception. We really wanted everyone to have a good time, that was the most important part.
Our wedding had several little personal touches. We were married by Ben’s childhood Rabbi from Connecticut. He led a very personal and very sweet ceremony.
During the cocktail hour Ben and I were behind the in the main ballroom area while the (amazing) staff at Clarendon Ballroom flipped the room, we were back there with no family, no guests and we danced and joked with each other. Just the two of us for a few moments before we went out to join our guests. It was wonderful to have that moment together.
