We’re taking you through a bit of a fairytale wedding today from The Observatory. The whimsy and enchantment really come to life in their reception, and you can check it out right here! But for now, you can ogle at the stunning bouquets and organic feel of Kate and Josh’s outdoor ceremony in Bethesda, Maryland. The bride used only natural elements in the decor, and it made for a truly beautiful and cohesive outdoor affair.
From Kate: I wanted my wedding to feel like an enchanted forest. I only used organic elements and included odd features such as mushrooms and funky flowers that are unusual for a wedding. I used lace from a veil my grandmother made and buttons from an old dress of hers on my bouquet.
My favorite memory from my wedding day was when I first saw my husband. We took our photos beforehand so my wedding planner arranged from Josh and I to see each other privately before the photos began. This was the most amazing part of my wedding because we had a few moments to ourselves, which is when it really set in that we were getting married!
