It’s time to share the modern celebration that followed Leah and Evan’s idyllic ceremony from Kristen Gardner Photography. They recruited their talented family to help with all the little details and incorporated places they’ve traveled to together as well as tributes to their vineyard location throughout their fun vibrant reception!
It is hard to pick just one detail from the day but, I will say that the final look of our reception venue really took our breaths away. It was such a special feeling to see how our vision came together so perfectly for us.
Our table names were personalized by the names being based on places Evan and I have traveled to. Our families were extremely helpful and crafty in many of the details. My aunt made all of the table and place card holders, table runners, and napkin rings by hand. My mother in law handmade the wine cork wreaths, flower pomanders and welcome bags.
Leah’s advice to other DC-area couples:
Always ask your venue what vendors they recommend and have had good, positive experiences with in the past. We couldn’t have asked for any better from all of our vendors. Meet as often as you can with your vendors – keep in contact, whether by email or phone, confirming the confirmed. You don’t have to spend a fortune – make sure to tell your vendors your budget and how they can get you as close to what you want within it.
