We are venturing out to the Virginia countryside for today’s venue tour! Long Branch Historic House and Farm, located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is an exquisite mansion swathed in luxurious antique furnishings and surrounded by lush and lovely gardens. Playing host to weddings since 1913, the venue has quite the experience in throwing stunning events both indoors and out.
Whitney and Keith wed outdoors amongst the lush greenery with the restored manor behind them. They took advantage of Long Branch’s vast farm grounds with Luke Eshleman Photography, and one of the properties many horses popping in to steal a few shots. Dinner and dancing took place under a beautifully draped tent on the landscaped terrace with classic chandeliers hung above, mimicking the elegance found just inside the mansion.

While Long Branch’s mansion is open for small and intimate weddings, it also makes for a beautiful setting to get ready in, as Nora and Matt did. Regal columns, spiral staircase and all! Take note, you can also have guided tours of the mansion arranged while you and your photographer snap a few shots around the property! Peter Toth Photography captured quite a few of these picturesque settings, including the ceremony which overlooked the venue’s lake.
