Tracey and Amit’s wedding in Maryland from Connor Studios took place last October at the lovely and historic Newton White Mansion in Maryland. Tracey and Amit worked with Trisha Cranor of Working Brides Wedding Planner to plan an interfaith wedding inspired by the warm colors of the fall season. Tracey and Amit chose to have two separate wedding ceremonies at the venue, with the Hindu ceremony located in the indoor atrium and the Christian ceremony following on the outdoor patio. Such a beautiful day!
From Trisha of Working Brides Wedding Planner: Tracy & Amit wanted a relaxed, warm, and fun atmosphere for their wedding. Their main priority was to make sure that reception was FANTASTIC, while their original wedding inspiration was to have beautiful and comforting warm fall colors as the focus.
Since Tracy is Christian and Amit is Hindu, it was important for the families that there be two distinct wedding ceremonies. We needed to find a venue with the flexibility of both an indoor and outdoor ceremony venue so that each ceremony could have its own unique look.
We incorporated shades of orange, yellow, and red into their wedding color palette. I loved the combination of the burnt orange linens with the red and yellow floral arrangements at the reception. It was an absolutely beautiful day!
