Listen up fashionistas!  Our next group of dresses is for the fashion-forward bride and is all about texture, color, and unusual materials.  From cotton toile fabric to feathers to black wedding dresses, if you’re looking for something amazing that your guests have never seen before – this is the post for you!  Designers also sent lots of color down the runway, from soft pastels to shimmery metallics and even a few bright and bold hues.  Designers took a lot of risks this year at bridal market, showing brides that as long as the dress is gorgeous, anything goes on your wedding day.  Vera Wang didn’t show one white dress this year!  (Speaking of color, do you remember Caroline’s purple wedding dress!?  Love!)

No. 1 Carol Hannah; No. 2 Claire Pettibone; No. 3 Elizabeth Fillmore; No. 4 Junko Yoshioka; No. 5 Vera Wang; No. 6 Anne Bowen

No. 7 Rivini; No. 8 Romona Keveza; No. 9 Tadashi Shoji; No. 10 Alfred Angelo; No. 11 Rivini; No. 12 Romona Keveza

The toile dress from Claire Pettibone is absolutely stunning – and definitely different from anything else we’ve ever seen.  The Junko Yoshioka dress has the most amazing texture; the gown was created with a process called metlassé that resembles quilting.  Incredibly beautiful and subtle at the same time.  Anne Bowen took her inspiration from the current ombre trend to create this gorgeous dress that fades from white to a dark champagne.  And the metallic details from Elizabeth Fillmore, Tadashi Shoji, and Romona Keveza are such a lovely way to add shimmer to your day – so pretty!

So, what do you think of the bridal fashions this year?  Will you wear any on your big day?  You can see all of our bridal market wedding dress inspiration here.
