Elegant, refined and absolutely stunning would be the best way to describe today’s virtual venue tour subject. The Hay-Adams hotel is a DC landmark, attracting elite guests from the time it opened in 1928. It also has an ideal wedding venue with the newly opened “Top of the Hay,” a luxurious rooftop event space. This breathtaking penthouse offers panoramic views of the city and accommodates up to 200 guests for a seated dinner and dancing (If you can get those guests away from the terrace’s sights long enough to eat, that is!)
To celebrate the launch of this fantastic new space, The Hay-Adams hosted a Valentine’s Day “Love Brunch” where local vendors had the chance to sample selections from their expansive menu and explore all the benefits of the rooftop, indoors and out. Jennifer Lust Photography captured it all, down to the perfectly pink details!

Kelley and Dave were one of the first to host their wedding reception at the Top of the Hay. The also chose to hold their ceremony a few floors below in an equally gorgeous space at the hotel. Procopio Photography captured the venue’s ambiance perfectly, with the lighting in the room popping against the simple and classic decor. And, well, the views speak for themselves!
