Katy and Paul’s classically beautiful wedding took place at Strong Mansion in Maryland this past May, with a stunning outdoor ceremony before an evening reception. Although the day threatened to rain, the weather held off until the reception, but the upside is that the mansion grounds looked incredibly lush for the ceremony and portraits! Katy and Paul opted for an elegant color palette of blue, yellow, and gray, and they even incorporated Katy’s pup, Chloe, into the wedding! Deb Lindsey documented the day, and check out some of the reception photos below for evidence of how well Chloe did at the wedding!
From Deb: Katy + Paul are college sweethearts who went to Georgia Tech. They included Katy’s dog Chloe in the weddings (she was walked down the aisle) – and she even sat quietly though the whole reception! The weather was iffy but Katy was determine to have an outdoor wedding at such a pretty venue and luckily the weather cleared in time for the ceremony, although it rained like crazy later during the reception. Some of my favorite photos are of Paul waiting for Katy just before their first look. His face just lit up when he heard her voice!
