It is always really fun when a bride loves her stationery so much that she shares it with us! Jennifer had a great time working with Daley at Merry Maps to design a custom, hand drawn map. Jennifer and James’ personalized map incorporated locations and points that were meaningful to them. They had their map drawn neutral enough so that they will be able to put it to all sorts of different uses. Lisa Marie from Sweet Tea Photography was gracious enough to snap a few photos of the save the date post card that Jennifer made using her custom map.
From Jennifer: “We really have had a great response to these save the dates
since they are original! When I talked with Daley, she had us choose several special locations
and locations important to the wedding. I had her write our wedding date instead of ‘Save the Date!’, so I
could use it on other things.”
More from Jennifer: “Since I now own the image, I can print it on whatever I want (bags, signs, etc.)! For the save the date, I printed them on 4 x 6 postcards. I uploaded the image to zazzle.com, and designed the back. I ordered about 60 postcards for $30. Also, I got postcard stamps, which are cheaper than regular stamps. I also used a black and white version of our map to create a letter about hotel bookings. The best part about the map is that I own it forever. I plan on displaying it somewhere at the wedding and even framing a copy. It is a good way to remember of our lives during our engagement.”
