Today we’re venturing down to Charlottesville, Virginia for a stunning fall vineyard wedding from Holland Photo Arts. Alisa and Brian were married this past October and selected Veritas Vineyard for their classic and elegant Jewish wedding ceremony and reception, and features a truly special and custom chuppah that was a surprise gift from the bride and groom’s parents!
Alisa and Brian’s wedding ceremony took place at sunset, so they opted for a first look and portrait session earlier in the afternoon at the Blue Ridge Overlook at Wintergreen mountain.
As mentioned above, the custom chuppah was a surprise gift from Alisa and Brian’s parents, so they saw it for the first time right before the ceremony! Their parents worked with an artist to create a truly custom design featuring their two family trees together under their names.
The traditional Jewish ketubah signing ceremony took place immediately before the wedding ceremony.
Brian and Alisa’s pup, Ellie, served as Ring Dog! Ellie helped Brian propose to Alisa and the couple knew they wanted to incorporate Ellie into the wedding ceremony.
