Who doesn’t love popcorn?!  It is so addicting and the flavor combos are endless.  You can put together a a popcorn bar that looks great, tastes good and doesn’t cost a lot of money.   DIY for your wedding can be challenging with glue guns and confusing directions, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say that a popcorn bar might be one of the easier wedding DIY options.

Nole and I (that’s us below!) went to an open house at Carla David‘s studio in Savage, MD.  Carla had a popcorn display of three different flavors with scoops and paper cones, so that each person could fill ’til their heart’s desire.  As a take-home for guests, she even printed up a few of the popcorn recipes.  I filled up my cute paper cone, took a few bites of her chic popcorn flavors and was hooked.  Chef’s Expressions helped Carla to develop a few popcorn recipes (see below, because they shared some recipes with us!) and Love Life Images was there to take some pictures.

From CarlaLooking for an idea beside your sweet bar?  Choose your favorite flavored popcorn and create a popcorn bar.  Choose different size containers, add a tag with the flavor of the popcorn and find a fun container to hold the popcorn in.  We designed these cones that matched the theme and pattern used through out the event.
