As promised, we have lots more DC area wedding fun from Chris and Caitlin’s cocktail hour and reception at Old Ebbitt Grill, a gorgeous heart-of-the-city restaurant. (Did you miss their wedding ceremony in Old Town?) Rebekah J. Murray had a blast documenting all the details of the wedding, from the bright tropical floral centerpieces to the beyond-adorable wedding cake topper, not to mention the stunning rooftop views!
Old Ebbitt Grill is famous for its oyster bar, which was made available to guests during a rooftop cocktail hour – along with music and dancing by a Hawaiian group, and amazing views of the White House, Washington Monument, and more.
The wedding reception was held downstairs in the Atrium, a 9-story room of light and white marble and palm trees that fit the wedding style and theme perfectly.
Since they’ve been together for so long, their families and friends were so close and Rebekah said that the wedding reception felt like the most happy and welcoming party of the year. The dance floor was packed for hours (and hours and hours)!
