In my other life, I’m a stylish wedding garter designer. It isn’t often that I get to do fun things with my garter designs, so this summer, I jumped at the chance to enter the Inspired Creations contest. I raided my super stylish friend’s closet, joined up with Leah from Studio Juno and borrowed a few gorgeous lingerie looks from Coup de Foudre. In keeping with our stylish theme, we were off to the H Street deli, Taylor Gourmet, and then over to Punk Rock Bride‘s Capitol Hill studio. We put together a few different fashionable bridal lingerie ideas to prove that wedding day lingerie can be unique and fun.
First up is a sweet and stylish something blue lingerie look.
The next stylish lingerie look was ivory and coral. We used pearls and small touches of gold to make this lingerie look really romantic.
Aqua is a unique “something blue” color that often gets overlooked. It is fresh and goes great with gold and ivory.
There is little more sophisticated than black lingerie. Add a touch of velvet, lace and Chanel, and you have the epitome of chic.
The last lingerie look is just fun! Who says you can’t wear purple on your wedding day?!
