If you’ve been to Washington, DC on a weekend, hopefully you’ve been to Eastern Market. This Capitol Hill farmer’s and just-about-everything-else market is the scene of the next feature in our inspiration week. It comes from Janice at Bellwether Events who teamed up with A Britton Photography to scour the market with newlyweds Jaime and Alec who were looking for some fun post-wedding pictures. Calling is a “Rock the Frock” session, the new couple went all over Eastern Market and the surrounding area getting to wear their wedding garb one last time.
From Janice: While some elements are styled, we really just wanted to take a guerrilla style approach to photographing Jamie in her vintage inspired wedding dress (and with her handsome groom) in this an urban setting. Huge props to CLM Make Up who kept Jamie and Alec looking phenomenal in the sweltering June heat. And we just adored the asymmetrical bouquet from Greenworks. We hope this is a new trend for bouquets in 2011!
I know where I’m going this weekend! Thank you so much, Janice and the rest of your team for sharing this Eastern Market wedding photo shoot.
