Today’s wedding, from Rex and Regina Events, features one super-stylish couple. From the chic gray bridesmaids dresses to the modern hotel reception venue and vodka bar, each detail from Patty and Jasper’s wedding is impeccably modern and sophisticated. Luckily for us, Ethan Yang captured the stunning images from the entire weekend – so let’s get started!
The wedding weekend started off with a traditional Korean wedding ceremony, the paebaek, at Hotel Helix in downtown Washington, DC to honor Patty and Jasper’s Korean heritage the day before their church wedding.
The next day, Patty and Jasper had a traditional ceremony at St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church followed by a small reception at the church for parents and the church community.
The wedding party dressed in complementary shades of purple and fuschia with platinum and gray. The men wore Converse sneakers (a gift from the groom) and each had a different purple-toned tie. The ladies were able to pick their own dresses, each in a platinum gray color, and carried beautiful purple calla lily bouquets.
Such a stylish bridal party!
Following the church reception, Patty and Jasper’s friends all went to Hotel Helix for an evening reception of food, drinks, and dancing. The party was full of energy, with lots of fun food like gazpacho shooters, sliders, and fries, as well as a vodka bar and ice sculpture!
Amazing music spun by local deejay Russell Belicek from Chris Laich Music Services kept the party going all evening long!
