If you’ve ever been to my other blog, you know that I’m a big fan of stationery – including all of the lovely paper details on the day of a wedding.  As we all know, food is one of the most important elements of any wedding reception, and chances are your guests will want to know what they’re eating before the meal arrives.  There are tons of creative ideas for letting your guests know about the yummy treats you’ve picked out for them – from a simple white menu wrapped in twine placed at each table setting to an elegant monogrammed menu displayed in a central location on each table.

One of my favorite menu ideas is a simple brown paper bag placed at each table setting.  Just run the flat bag through your home printer or, if you’re feeling crafty, have a custom rubber stamp made with your menu information.  You can either leave the bags empty or fill them with an edible treat and have them double as wedding favors!

Chalkboard is a huge trend right now for both weddings and interior design, and with good reason!  Chalkboard is incredibly versatile – it can be dressed up for a formal black and white wedding or kept playful for a more informal setting.

You can also ask your invitation designer to create menu cards to match your invitation design and complement your overall wedding style and color palette.
